Zoo of Maubeuge

I have mixed feelings about zoos: on one hand, they help to preserve some species, but on the other hand, when you see the elephants in confined spaces or monkeys in a cage, it makes me sad. Maubeuge Zoo treat their animals ethically and preserve species from five continents: giraffes, birds, mammals of all kinds ... This is an excellent opportunity for animal lovers to see them in reality and not in documentaries. One of my favourites was the little raccoon. It was so adorable!
