A restaurant in the heart of Rennes. On the menu: salmon tartar marinated in basil, cold tomato soup and ham, crispy warm goat's cheese (delicious), fricassee of veal kidneys with mushrooms, nougat ice cream and red berry coulis ... dishes are 13.50, and desserts are 5.00. I don't remember the price of the starters. In any case, a good place to eat well, with good value for money.
As you pass along Rue Carmes, you'll see the red facade of this Asian restaurant. There are three menus from 12 € to 21.50 €. Siam has a terrace and a large veranda. You can eat Thai dishes, Chinese dishes, and Vietnamese dishes. I like the spring rolls in particular. If you love Asian cuisine, this restaurant really isn't bad at all.
This is a great restaurant. Specialties of the house include beautiful veal roast, pickled vegetables, grilled prawns, caponata, grilled tuna ... when you see the menu, you'll want to try everything. Don't miss the strawberry sorbet for dessert.
Well-located, right in the centre of Rennes, this restaurant has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It's a pity then that the dishes are a bit on the expensive side ... they're good, though, with a large selection of pizzas and pasta dishes.
If you want crepes in Rennes, this is your place! Located on Place de Bretagne, it's a beautiful creperie with oak floors. The food is delicious - medallions of monkfish with julienne vegetables and curry sauce, or cinnamon apples with raspberry coulis ... and so much more! Unforgettable ...
This restaurant, a pizzeria/grill, serves simple but delicious dishes. It's true that it's not much to look at from the street ... and the decor inside is simple, too, but the food is great. Good value for money.
Located just steps from the National Theatre of Brittany, here you can enjoy some decent food. On the menu: English breakfast, French breakfast, pastries, hot food ... I like the decor, with its wide fireplace, beams and homely, secondhand objects. It is open until 18:30.
The truth is that we were very lucky staying at the Hotel-Restaurant La Coquerie Lecoq-Gadby. This century-old house focuses on sustainable tourism, making the stay was most enjoyable! The restaurant offers a very select kitchen with a variety of signature dishes by the chef, Pierre Legrand. This cook, with a pioneering spirit, chooses products with regard to the environment. You must try the grilled Guilvinec prawns with tender leeks and perfumed licorice, almond milk emulsion or fennel confit lamb with Mas de Vaudoret olive oilr. As for accommodation, the rooms are great. They are located in the new building, which is environmentally friendly. Since then, the hotel-restaurant is a gem of wellbeing for the senses, because between courses you can get a massage!

The products are very well chosen and the food continues to be one of the best that can be sampled in Britain's capital. Following the tradition of Breton cuisine, the restaurant La Réserve has many innovative recipes that are sure to give life to an exquisite point that few others have ever achieved. If you're one of the lucky ones ve have made a reservation at this restaurant, do not hesitate to order the delicious salmon, shrimp papillote and for dessert, the deliciously exquisite cake store: the parlementin.
