A restaurant in the Condesa area, Mexico, with an excellent atmosphere. It´s modern and relaxed with a perfect combination of tradition and design. Mexican cuisine with a touch of today. It offers a superb wine menu, with wines from around world. I recommend the chile en nogada with both sweet and savoury sauces. Try the Jamaica water, a cold infusion of red flowers. Excellent!
In the city of Mexico, between Avenida Insurgentes and Dakota streets is the majestic building of WTC offices of the city of Mexico, on the 46th floor there's an Italian restaurant serving seafood with incredible views and a gin menu. It is not to be missed because during dinner it rotates 360 degrees so you can see the whole city, I'm sure that if you visit you will not regret it.
One of the most famous snacks in Puebla are the "cemitas." You can find them in most places there. It is a very popular cake-like food, and comes with any ingredient such as chicken, ham, milanesa, carnitas, etc etc. The flavors vary, but the ones that you absolutely must try are cheese and chili(sliced or chipotle), Papalo, onion and bread for cemitas, which are somewhat circular and should be crisp. I like them soft and prefer less smooth. Now referring to Cemitas EL CARMEN, and shopping is much more the way to eat this appetizer, it is a chain that sells, and it offers a variety of flavors, as well as accompany them with sauces, fruit drinks and some desserts like esquites , corn, etc etc ... The truth that is a good option and a more comfortable place to eat them is located in the center of the city of Puebla. It is easy to find as it is on Reforma Avenue, which is one of the main streets in this area. You haven't visited Puebla unless you've eaten a delicious cemita!
So what is a churro? They're made of bread or flour, and round like fluted, browned in oil and coated with cinnamon sugar. Sometimes, they are filled with chocolate, caramel, milk, etc. They are delicious. This place dates back to 1962, and was formerly a cake shop. It improved its product line for years, eventually becoming a Churreria. It sells a variety of combinations; sugar, chocolate, with milk, with caramel, etc. They go perfectly with warm coffee or hot chocolate, especially when it's cold out and a hot drink is the ultimate remedy. We went in after getting soaked in the city, and decided to stay to enjoy the views over the city. There's an upper floor where there are tables and a balcony, which we couldn't go on as it was wet, but I'm sure the view is great. I'll have to go back for another chocolate fritter to check ha ha ha. I'm just looking for excuses, the truth is I would highly recommend this place if you're visiting Puebla. It's delicious, economical and there is a nice atmosphere.
Senor Frog's is a restaurant-bar chain and club, all in one, offering Mexican and international cuisine. At night it has an open bar at a fixed price and live music and DJ. Senor Frog's in Playa del Carmen was in an ideal location, just off the port of Playa. The food is quite tasty and I had a nice time looking at the sea, day and night. At night we went very near to the Day of the Dead so everything was decorated for the event.
I visited this place because some friends recommended it to me and it was great advice. The food is scrumptious and the deal is great, living in a common place where food is Mexican, to find a good variant brings a smile on my face. This place's pizzas are really delicious, the cheese melts in your mouth. Do not hesitate for a moment to go to this Italian corner, you will love, it. Plus the place is decorated very well, the staff are very friendly and they are very affordable prices, what more could you ask for.
When visiting the beautiful spring city of Cuernavaca in the Mexican state of Morelos, you're bound to discover the legendary restaurant "Las Mananitas" and of course, enjoy a delicious meal. Located in the heart of Cuernavaca, and offering superb diners and a varied menu, many visitors who travel from Mexico City eat exclusively at Las Mananitas. You can have a pleasant experience dining within the green, manicured gardens throughout the year since the city enjoys excellent weather. You can sit in the garden and have a snack, then dine indoors or outdoors, depending on your preference. The kitchen is of high quality, as is the service, which is invaluable for many national and international visitors that eat there every year. Plus, there's always live music which creates a wonderful atmosphere that's distinctly Mexican. Besides being a good restaurant, Las Mananitas is also a hotel and spa, and is highly sought after by honeymooners.
In Xcaret there are four restaurants and we decided to try this one as we were in the mood for Mexican food. I had an enchilada, after the waiter commented that it was "for men" because it was so spicy. I ate one ..... in my life I have never eaten something so spicy and it took me a while to recover ... There is also a performance that you can enjoy from the table, to enjoy the show horse farm adjacent to the restaurant ...
Buhu's [Owl] is located in the north of the beautiful island, on the famous North Beach. Not smarter than a Palapas, but the facade is not important. A wonderful atmosphere, the best view of the Caribbean, it's not to clear ... There is Breakfast, lunch and dinner as Caribbean International style. But the famous bar has been rated the best beach bar in the world. This palapita, bar and restaurant has over 25 years running, this was one of the first bars in the place, it is like being in one of those movies where they take your gringo beer or a glass in your hammock while you fan aside mosquitoes. Something noteworthy is their lobster enchiladas, scrumptious and the best of it is that they are straight from the sea. In the evening you can enjoy the sunset on a beach chair with a good pina colada, as the sun bounces on Playa Norte.
Delicious Mexican food for meat lovers. Prices are affordable (each cut of meat around 100 ~ 150 pesos (5 ~ 7 euros)), the bill for 3 people came out to 700 pesos (35 euros). well prepared food in big portions, friendly atmosphere and excellent service. Highly recommended if visiting Colima. I had another chance to visit the restaurant (The Comalón), but a friend told me that the best place is this one, given their preference for good meat. For starts we had different dishes: Processed cheese with different things (mushrooms, sausage, etc..), Guacamole, quesadillas, etc.. Its specialty entrees include red meat, but they have salads and seafood for those who do not want to eat meat. They also had a lot of variety in their desserts: Custard, cakes, etc.., Including a traditional sweet called "jericaya" which looked like a baked cream. In general, soft flavors were perfect after the strong flavor of the meat.
The Merida harbanos tacos are delicious! Your pita bread is prepared then and with garlic cream and chipotle sauce. They have beer for good prices and deals. Their wings are delicious charcoal grilled-are on the side of depott in extension office if they come to Merida montejo ride I recommend this restaurant. It was in Francisco de Montejo but by the success of their food is changed to a bigger place
Living in a big city surrounded by rivers and numerous lagoons, you create a culture quite specific about food, it's like living on the coast as you eat seafood from birth. Here in villahermosa swamp, river seafood is the specialty: Pejelagarto, mojarra, pigua, snail and an occasional tortoise, like the turtle in any thousand specialties. For now, I will comment on an interesting place called La Mojarra Feliz. It is a simple place on the city boardwalk, but on the side of Gaviotas colony. The dynamic is this: You come in, you see the cooler and pick your mojarra depending on how hungry you are, you sit and wait with a cold loggerhead (not sold in halves), you put a coin in the jukebox and listen to your favorite music until your desired dish arrives. No hassle, no eccentricities, La Mojarra Feliz allows you to eat well and cheaply. Nothing fancy, but for anyone who needs to eat a delicious mojarra.
Attractive waitresses in sexy uniforms, in a very American atmosphere, Hooters of Cancun will make you feel like you're in the USA. Located opposite the Coco Bongo club, it's the perfect place to have a drink after a day on the beach. The place is full of tourists soaking up the American atmosphere.
I have been here on several occasions: Weddings, conventions, intimate celebrations. It is a very romantic spot with a beautiful garden evocative of colonial times. It is quite expensive but it is a Mexican landmark and is worth it.
A mythical and historic place in Mexico City. The Crown Hall is one of the main bars / restaurants to be found in this city of palaces and smog. A lot has been written about this place, but I will write very specifically about the BEST things, aside from their cañas and tarros (big and small beers). If you go, ordering the OCTOPUS TACOS is a must. Yes yes yes yes yes! They are wonderful! These meals are so delicious that you can not believe they come from a taco, or a place like the Crown Hall. The starters menu is: A dark tarro, an octopus taco and 2 pastor tacos, which coincidentally are also pretty good. If you dare, you can re-order the octopus and do so again and again ... To infinity.
I went to this coffee shop in mid-2012 with my mother, my sister, and my nephew. It's a pretty nice place and very comfortable. Everyone visiting the port should visit this cafe at least once during their stay and enjoy their breads and drinks. Highly recommended! Coffee also feels good after a walk along the boardwalk, the craft market, and downtown. :)
