One of the countless hotels around Disney World in Orlando, but far better than most of the competition. Located adjacent to Downtown Disney, with all its restaurants, shops and attractions, and not too far from the famous theme parks, it's comfortable, large and clean, with everything that a customer might need. There are different types of rooms, from classics to suites, with all the typical amenities ... a pillow menu, coffee and tea, wireless internet ($9/day), a safe, an iron ... some even have jacuzzis. All perfectly clean, with large, comfortable beds.
There are several restaurants and bars. The breakfast buffet is large and varied, but very American, with waffles, bacon, sausage, eggs, hamburgers, cereal, ketchup on the table ... for about $15 or so. Everything is basically fast food, but it's not too bad. At the pool there's another bar for a snack, with a limited menu. And there's a sports bar where you can get sandwiches, as well as room service.
Of course, like all hotels in the area, in the main hall you'll find a Disney store where you can buy some souvenirs, and there's a free shuttle bus to downtown Disney World. There's also a concierge desk where you can buy tickets to different shows like Cirque du Soleil or the NBA, NHL, etc, all without leaving the hotel. A little more than 5 minutes' drive from the hotel, you'll find the Premium Outlets with hundreds of stores and restaurants. The rest is a little further away, but not too much, and the city center and airport are both not much more than 15 minutes by taxi. In short, a good hotel, comfortable and clean with prices ranging from $ 85 per room. The service is very efficient and pleasant.
The Buena Vista Palace Hotel And Spa is on the peninsula of Baja California Mexico, overlooking the Sea of Cortez and offers access to a variety of activities. It has 60 Mediterranean-style rooms with private patios furnished with hammocks. There's a free outdoor pool. Massage services are provided or pedicure. The restaurant serves Mexican cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The Palms Hotel And Villas can be found just two miles away from Disney World and close to other Orlando attractions. This hotel in Kissimmee, Florida has two outdoor pools as well as a children's pool. Guests are offered a complimentary continental luxury. The bedroom suite offers full kitchens with refrigerators and dishwashers hotel has 316 rooms.
Tartaruga Resort is a guesthouse with 13 rooms that each have private bathrooms. It´s located on Unawatuna Beach of Unawatuna so it has lovely sea views. The beach is nice and ideal for children because the waters are calm and sheltered from the wind. The best time to visit is during our winter, but it was also fine in August and only rained for an hour or less each day. There are also two two-bedroom cabanas that were built a little higher to prevent further destruction by the tsunami, which damaged most of the buildings in Unawatuna in 2004. The price for breakfast is 13 euros, 20 for dinner and 23 for full pension. The lounge bar is very nice after a day of surfing or sightseeing, and they sometimes organize evening activities. Galle is 10 kilometers away or half an hour by tuk tuk.
A trip to Disney World is, basically, so that you can spend all day in the parks, therefore the Pop century is an excellent choice because it is within Disney and you can enjoy the benefits of free transportation, shopping delivery from the places in the complex, among other things ... plus the room is a good size for up to 4 people, very clean and spacious, the beds are comfortable, plus the hotel is decorated very cool, the food court is very good!
The pop century and All Star are the same, the decor is just a bit different, and the truth is it is not worth paying much money if you hardly spend time in the room, if that's the case, this is definitely a good choice because it is big, clean and cute, plus they enjoy the benefits of staying at Disney.
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is one of 27 hotels that can be found inside of the Disney Property, in Orlando, Florida. This resort, in addition to having more than 800 rooms, is among the most expensive and most luxurious that Disney has to offer. You will find 2 swimming pools, 2 restaurants, a monorail that runs through the lobby that leads directly inside the Disney park, 3 shops and an area specially created to entertain the kids. There are also several bands and pianists at various times of the day to entertain tourists and guests with classical music. For those who can afford it, this hotel is a must try. For anyone who believes that $500 a night is too much ... once can always visit it and maybe sit in the lobby and enjoy great music.
Disney's Shades of Green Resort is one of 27 hotels that can be found within the Disney Property in Orlando, Florida. This resort, in addition to having more than 700 rooms, is famous for being created by the war veterans and the military (there are special discounts for any member of the Marine Corps, Navy, Firemen, Police etc ...). This is also among the most expensive and most luxurious accommodations that Disney has to offer. You can find 1 swimming pool, 3 restaurants, 2 shops, a golf course with 18 holes and an area specially created to entertain children. The hotel is well within the compass of a few (more than 500 dollars a night) but it is worth at least one visit because the landscape is really impressive.
Disney's Old Key West Resort is one of 24 hotels that Disney offers in Orlando, Florida. This hotel, as well as having 2 swimming pools, 3 shops and 3 restaurants, is one of the more expensive (about $300 per night), but is sold out almost all year round as it is one of the 7 resorts that houses the owners of the Vacation Club (timeshare). For those who can not afford at least one night, I would still recommend to visit it because of the soft music and the set design, which incorporates the old Key West (hence the name of the resort). The landscape all around makes this hotel really comfortable and enjoyable.
