Arashiyama Bamboo Forest

Bamboo is always impressive to see. It´s strange to see how such thin trunks can grow so high and hard. It´s really quite impressive. In fact in many areas of China scaffolds are made of bamboo. Imagine now a bamboo forest in all its glory in the rays of sun through the giant stalks. You can find a forest like this in Arashiyama, near one of the train stations Trokko. The vast majority are fenced, but if you fall you can find the village forest areas which are free.
