Praia Foz do Arelho

Foz do Arelho is a town on the right bank of the Lagoon of Obidos, whose mouth changes annually depending on the tides. From the vast sandy Foz do Arelho beach, there is a paved road that goes up to a pretty village called San Martinho do Porto (for another time). But the most striking are the cliffs that are continually struck by the sea's fury and the huge sandy beach of fine white sand. It's very busy in summer and is frequented by the Portuguese.
