A paradise inside another paradise
After a day of walking the path caves by Thakhek, we stopped for lunch by the Huay Xieng Liap bridge and the town of Ban Songkhone. From there, a girl went with us on a path toward an amazing cliff, where we went inside a stunning limestone cave (Tham Xieng Liap). Coming out of it, almost overnight, we ended up in the middle of a forest, surrounded by cliffs and with only the sound of birds and insects in the area. Before us, the lovely and simple area of huts of central Laos. The owners treated us well, Tanja and Uli, a German couple who were climbing enthusiasts. We slept for 4 euros / person, we had dinner and continued our journey through the country.
