Rheinau Convent, which is situated on an island in the Rhine, is one of the most prominent in Switzerland along with St. Gall and Einsiedeln. Surprising both for its position and for its baroque interior. From the monastery you can walk for about two hours to get to the Rhine Falls near Neuhausen.
