I recommend it 100%

I went to this restaurant because ofthe great recommendations I read on minube, among other reason. I was not disappointed at all, everything was very tasty. According to what I understood, it is one of the oldest Japanese restaurants in Madrid. It is really small, better play it safe and reserve a table before going.

I will not start talking about Japanese techniques, it is enough to know what sashimi or wasabi is. I will tell you that the menu is very "pure" in terms of aesthetics but also very practical and complete. There are various dishes from which you can choose. If you do not like sushi, it is not a problem, there are many other things like teriyaki chicken (very good).

Something important, if you like beer you definitely should try one of the Japanese ones they offer (Asahi), apart from being very good, they serve it very cold, as it should be. I did not have dessert. For all those who like Japanese food, I recommend it 100%.

By the way, there are a couple of parking lots nearby if you need to park your car.

A discovery!

If you think all Japanese restaurants are expensive and that you'll still be hungry afterwards, Musashi will go against all prejudices. This hidden restaurant is located between Callao and Santo Domingo and since it opened a few years ago it is a place of reference in Madrid Japanese cuisine scene.

For 15€ it is possible to have the most traditional Japanese dinner (tempuras, sushi, mostly fish, miso soup, teriyakis...) of good quality and nice and fast service. You should not expect great decoration on the facade nor inside, but does it matter when the food is good?

It is usually very busy at lunch rush hours and there is a set meal for about 11€ I also highly recommend. The best? Going for dinner at 9 or 9.30 pm and quietly enjoy the exquisite Japanese food without making your wallet shake.

A great discovery!

Very cheap but good quality

One of the most popular Japanese restaurants in Madrid. It is known as Japotalego, even though its real name is Musashi. You can already imagine why it is called this way (in Spanish "talego" means a thousand pesetas, which is cheap), it is cheap but the quality of the food is good. The restaurant is small, it is not the typical Japanese restaurant where the decoration is very well cared (you actually eat on a paper table cloth) but the most important is the quality of the food.

It's truly great

Very good location, with a small terrace for when the weather is nice, it is the ideal Japanese restaurant. They do not serve only raw fish, there is a bit of everything: veal, chicken, vegetables... The price is quite affordable (careful, we are talking about a Japanese restaurant.. It is not the same as Chinese) and there is a great variety of tapas. The truth is it is absolutely worth it.

Japanese home meals or japotalego

This little restaurant tucked away in the streets of Shells, between Callao and Santo Domingo is one of the best options if you are in the middle and you fancy Japanese food, yes, just in case call ahead to find out if there are available table. In usual rush hour waiting. Not a place that stands out for its decor, but for the quality of their food. Everything is bonísimo and fresh, the waitresses are very friendly and fast, and often find Japanese eating there, which is a sure sign of authenticity. The highlight is its good quality / price as a dinner can go for about 10-15 €. The daily menu costs 11 €, also recommended. The menu has everything you would expect in a restaurant of this type: the gyoza (Japanese dumplings typical), the udon (noodle soup with various ingredients) and plates of sushi and sashimi, very rich and abundant. But if you really want to try a delicious dish, do not hesitate to ask the Kakiage don, a rice dish with vegetables and egg removes the sense. If you have not done too full with all of the above (which is likely) do not leave without trying the green tea chocolates. + Sites ehttp :/ /' http://www.madridcoolblog.com'

Hello, i am a big fan of this restaur...

Hello, I am a big fan of this restaurant, the truth that I frequent enough for the quality of its food and its price. But yesterday I experienced one of the worst experiences I've ever had in a restaurant. We and our selection of dishes and then we were served drinks and an appetizer of broccoli with mushroom. To which I will take with chopsticks Mushroom, I see something of the same color with legs. I can not believe, a dead cockroach! I promise. Imagine as cockroaches have the kitchen to serve it and everything! He digimos to Camareo, saw it and took it. From this we were debating whether to go or not and I started to bring other dishes. In the end we decided to stay but with a thousand eyes on the dishes. At no time no nothing apologized. What I have clear is that not going back to that restaurant. Japanese there are many more and I guess if necessary, more educated. Incredible.

Hola,

No doy crédito, UNA CUCARACHA MUERTA!

Great!

This is a really Japo and the rest is nonsense! Pa begin in a few Japanese who have gone all flat waitresses and cooks were Japanese, Aki are and that inspires tranquility in the sense that the best person you can feed a Japanese Japanese food? It was great!

Genial!

It is a restaurant that i love !!

The very best I've had in quality / price. In addition, customer treatment is quite nice and all staff is Japanese (or at least Asia), which I like when I look Asian food restaurants. The variety of dishes is extensive and personally recommend trying any type of Maki Sushi ... I when I eat candy is like: P.

But if ...

I've been going for over ten years and it is true that the quality and price are great, but I also write a little jarring note and tell you that I have been greatly relaxed in quantities. A few years ago, price and quality were equal but in decent amounts per dish. Well, guess who commands the income statement.
