Our Lady of Asuncion Church

Popularly known as the Old Church, this is most representative of the Gothic style in Cantabria. Built in the late nineteenth century and inaugurated in 1901, the Church occupies 1700 square meters total, making its dimensions truly spectacular. The Basilica has three naves, and the highlights are the 19 meter high temple and the 50 meter high tower. The stained glass rose window and the clock are the most characteristic elements visible from outside.
