Wetlands Surrounded by Beaches

This park is a wetland with sandy areas, surrounded by beaches and ponds created to exploit salt, giving way to a reserve of aquatic and migratory birds.

There are various paths ideal to enjoy the landscape. Let’s enjoy it while it exists, before the urban monster attacks it.

Remember that here you will find the mud baths.

A Spectacle

This place is catalogued as a “protected space”. Besides the salt mining, it is the home of a great number of birds, like flamencos, herons, egrets, avocets, etc.

The reflection of the clouds in the water is a spectacle of great beauty. In these ponds there is a bacteria that gives the water a pink tone.

Well Taken Care Of

I recommend this place for a walk. I was surprised of how well taken care of it is, with signalized paths. You can enjoy a great number of different birds that have made a home in this place.

The best view

Pure nature. This is Lopagan and San Pedro Murcia. You can find some animals and birds, healing mud and you can swim in the Mediterranean Sea and the Menor Sea, you can also find hotels restaurants and bars.

The Properties of Mud

It is surprising to see people come out covered in mud, which has medicinal and healing properties. Despite the heat, there are many people there from 10 am. Even in the wintertime.

Very peaceful and quiet.

Excellent

There are always flamingos around if you want to take nature photos.
