It's great when you go to the dunes of Merzouga and go for a walk to do some necessary shopping. You can find everything but at the same time it is somewhat limited .... but nonetheless you can always find something to substitute. The nomadic Berber atmosphere of the area is very nice. Very nice people and with a touch of bestial humility. I've been lots of times and I recommend it. There are also some very interesting fossil shops.
