Recently renovated and located in a historic building,the hotel shows off its historical wooden sleepers (both on the façade and inside) and proudly displays the original masonry. It is a chain with a few hotels around the UK, and this branch offers spacious rooms, painted white, with simple but practical furnishings. The bathrooms are new, and the room features a comfortable bed and a loveseat sofa in the sitting area, where you can enjoy a nice coffee or tea provided by the hotel. Free wi-fi, although it does not seem to reach the 4th floor! The hotel does not include a continental breakfast.
This pub serves excellent traditional ales and is certified by CAMRA. Great beer and great food, I highly recommend it. It stands a short distance from Salisbury Cathedral and boasts one of the best views of the city. A great place to stop to unwind after a day spent sightseeing around the town of Salisbury.
The friendliness and helpfulness of Charles and Sue is what really made our stay at Sarum Heights. Charles is an excellent cook and Sue's jams made for the most wonderful breakfasts every morning. The rooms offer a lovely view of Salisbury and it made for the perfect stop during our bike trip from London to Paris.
Millford Hall Hotel is located a short distance from the city center on a street with plenty of pubs, supermarkets, and bus stops. Part of the hotel is located in an original Georgian home while the rest of it is in a more modern building. The rooms are large, comfortable and clean and the breakfasts are incredibly tasty. The hotel also has an excellent restaurant. Wi-fi works perfectly throughout the entire hotel, including the rooms.
This pub is right out in nature and can be reached via the Town Path that takes you from the steps of the cathedral to the most beautiful countryside in minutes. The pub serves real ale and traditional food. Oh, and a very beautiful garden.
