Located in the center of the Bharathi Park and dividing the park into 4 equal parts. It was built during the reign of French Emperor Napoleon III in Greco-Roman style in a striking white colour scheme. It was built to commemorate the delivery of water to the population, and this is where it gets it's name from; The Water Monument
