Abbey House Museum

The museum is situated in the gateway of the ruins of Kirkstall Abbey, a listed historic building. The ground floor of the museum is laid out like an area in the middle of the Victorian streets, illustrating a wide range of shops and services, including original shop fittings, etc. Upstairs there are things that illustrate the history of Kirkstall Abbey, childhood and social history.
