    The Majestic Hotel is one of the most prestigious hotels in Harrogate. It's built like a castle in the middle of a large private garden. It's where all the nobility of Russia and England used to come to enjoy the summer and the city's thermal baths. Now the hotel is part of the Barceló chain. It has retained its spectacular Victorian facade, but the rooms have been updated. If you book in advance, the standard room is 110 pounds/night, a reasonable price for the surroundings.
