10 reviews of Leh

In the mythical Indus valley

Leh is the capital of the remote region of Ladakh , in the far north of India. The city is the region's only city with a direct air connected to the rest of India. Cut off for several months a year by snow, Leh is nestled in the mythical Indus valley under the shadow of the peaks of the Himalayas. In springtime, the area fills up with trekkers and adventurers since the city is an incredible starting point for hiking trails can reach, in some cases, all the way to the border with China. Leh was fascinating, possibly because it's so different from the rest of India.

Leh

This is where I learned that His Holiness, the Dalai Lama dictates:

1. Do not Think About the past or what may happen in the future

2. Let the mind flow of its own accord without thought

3. Observe the mind's nature of luminous clarity

4. Hold on to this experience

Amazing Leh!

Its a little like a small Kathmandu in the desert

One of the most wonderful calm and inspiring places

Excellent
