Temple of Athena Nike

The Athena Nike, as its name indicates, is a temple that was dedicated to the goddess Athena, patron goddess of the city of Athens. It was built between 435 and 432 BC. This temple is located on the Acropolis of Athens, one of the great wonders of Greek architecture. If possible, you should visit this place because it is really beautiful. The view is beautiful, the buildings are beautiful and within seconds you can look back over 2000 years. Visit early in the morning (to avoid the hordes of tourists!) or late in the day to witness the fantastic sunset.
