Ballygally Beach

This spectacular white sand beach is located in front of the town's castle, which is now a luxury hotel. What catches your attention on Irish beaches are the people bathing in neoprene. Obviously if the locals are using it, it works. I'm a cold person, so just putting my feet in the water was hard. As a big plus, in the month of August, and despite the sun, the beach was almost deserted.
