Between The Lines Winery

We visited Between The Lines Winery on a wine tour with the company, Niagara Vintage Wine Tours in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada. It is called "Between the Lines" because the roads are numbered as "Lines" out in the country here, and it is literally located between the lines! We started by viewing the grapes growing outside of the winery and were told about their growing conditions. The climate in the Niagara region is ideal for growing grapes for all kinds of wine, including ice wine. Then, we went inside and our tour guide allowed us to try several different wines. This is a newer winery and a smaller operation that was less formal than other wineries we have visited with a small tasting room.
