A beautiful botanical garden
The Botanical Garden of Ajuda in Lisbon is just behind the palace of the same name, we went to the garden after visiting the palace. It's tucked away from the most interesting areas of the city, so you have to make a little journey (tram or bus) to get there. The garden is not free, but it only costs 1.5 €, and it's quite nice, although not very large. You can spend an hour full of tranquility, I liked the lower floor, with hedges and beautiful fountains.
