The street leading up to the Duomo Castle is one of the liveliest in Milan. This is where the Christmas craft market takes place, and there are plenty of restaurants, although they're not the cheapest in the city. The portions aren't too big, but the Milanese risotto tasted great. You can also buy cakes to take away.
