Mosteiro de Carboeiro
Within inner Galicia are little paradises that preserve intact all their magic, such as the Carboeiro mosteiro in Silleda, at whose feet flows the Deza, forming a unique environment. The monastery was built on an ancient crypt by students of Mestre Mateo. After its heyday it was subdued by the local nobility and finally ended up depending on Santiago, which led to a rapid decline.
