Sandstone fountain

In the eighteenth century, a series of hydraulic reforms were undertaken in various villages in the area, including Casares, in order to channel the spring water that is located in the Port of the Vines into the center of town. This fountain was completed in 1785 under the reign of Carlos III, hence its name. It is constructed using sandstone, and although it has undergone various remodellings, it still retains its original form.
