After a stroll through one of the most beautiful places of the Alto Asón Park, we reached the entrance of the Coventosa Cave. It is named for the current of air that blows at the entrance due to a change in temperature between the air outside and inside, and the narrowness of the entry itself.
We anchored ourselves with a rope and began a small descent and the truth is that it was a pretty quiet experience. But, I also have to say that we only walked the first mile of the 35-mile long cave. That doesn't you don't have to get your hands dirty, though. You'll have crawl through some areas and some tackle some slippery descents and ascents.
