Big waves

LOCATION: North of Peru, on the La Libertad Coast, at km 614 of the Panamerican Highway. It is almost 2km long, with a mix of sand and rocks. The wind blows constantly, creating huge waves, and from north to south there's always a strong current of air. The waves are between 0.5 and 2 metres, depending on the wind. To enjoy the best surf, come between March and October, although there are waves all year round. You'll need a 5'8 "to 6'7" surfboard. The water is cold all year, so it's advisable to use a full wetsuit. You'll need to wear boots, too, as there are sharp rocks. There are hotel services
