The Chan Chan Inn is a little eccentric, but it's conveniently located near the bus terminal, so it's a good choice if you're arriving early. The Chan Chan Inn offers single or double rooms at prices that beat all competition (60 soles per double room). It's a bit noisy, especially in the rooms facing the road, but if you turn on the TV it's not bad. There's only a local area network, so no internet unless you have a laptop. The hotel also has a small restaurant that's popular with the locals.
This is a hostel, albeit of a slightly higher level, with family management. The rooms are comfortable; ours had a small jacuzzi and cable TV. It has a great location, within fifteen minutes walk from the Plaza de Armas. The staff are very friendly, and will help with everything you need in town: tourist information, bus reservations, etc. Highly recommended.
Peru is the best for the people and the food. Huanchaco was a great choice to stay at for a full week. We had a good time with my family , its beaches are something I can´t explain, it was not hard to find lodging, we found it on Sunday and it was a good place that treated us well, it was very clean, his service was good . I recommend them with my eyes closed.
