The Frauenkirche (Church of Our Lady), is a symbol of Dresden, and a spectacular Baroque Lutheran church. It was completely destroyed during the Second World War, and the GDR kept its ruins as a monument to remember the destruction of war. After the collapse of the Berlin Wall they began the rebuilding of this church.
