Crucero por El Rhin

This mini-cruise lasts almost 120 minutes. I think it is better to get to Rudesheim and wait for a boat to go up north. This section of the valley is a UNESCO declared World Heritage Site. It boasts vineyards, picturesque villages and majestic medieval castles, most of which had been converted into luxury hotels. We passed the Loreley rock, subject of a curious legend and a famous song. It is a wonderful experience to take the cable car to the top of Niederwald, 225 meters above the river. A grand monument, symbolizing the restoration of German unity, was erected here between 1877 and 1883. This

We took a short cruise on the Rhine, at least we hired a boat for a short time, but it was more like a public transit vehicle. We were on the river, but kept stopping at every town to pick up more passengers. Apart from this, the views were spectacular. There are very green mountains dotted with houses, well mansions, in idyllic locations.
