Flying Over the Himalayas

The flight from Delhi to Leh, in the remote Ladakh region, only takes an hour, but if you're lucky and you have clear skies (which only happens if the plane leaves early in the morning), you'll get to see one of the most memorable sights in your life. The plane flies really low over the Himalayas. Be sure to book a window seat on the left side of the plane so you can have the impressive mountain range all for yourself.
