Didactic Goal
The Fulwell Mill in Sunderland, northern England, is the result of a local initiative to rebuild an old windmill. The traditional structures have been maintained as much as possible, but without renouncing new technological elements. It currently functions as a theme park, to explain to visitors the ancient (and modern) secrets of wind power, especially organized school groups, making it not so easy to visit without an appointment. This mill is a good example of how you can leverage existing traditional structures with a didactic goal and as an ornament for the area.
