Port town where a huge Buddha is being constructed

Gilimanuk is the Java ferry port. There are Just a few houses, some farms, some naties walking in the sun west of Bali, some cows on the roadside. The idea was to get to the shore to see the people moving between Bali and Java, where ferries leave every few minutes. But on the island, the access to shipping ports area is guarded and is accessible only to passengers. So we turned around, but here we found a light coming from the top of a hill. We headed there. it turned out to be a big Buddha statue in an attitude of peace and reconciliation, made of marble and freshly installed. So much so that the operators were still working on strengthening their foundations and adjacent buildings serve as temple and museum.
