A fascinating site to see
The Gipsoteca Canovian is located in a very large basilica in Treviso and is dedicated to the work of the sculptor Antonio Canova.
The site has hundreds of plaster casts that are evidence of a continuous and demanding job on behalf of the late sculptor. It also has a front garden where an italic pine that was planted by Canova himself in 1799 still lives.
