Road to Spegazzini Glacier
We continued sailing the canals of Lake Argentino but this time we were heading south, so we took the canal boat Spegazzini and moved up to the glacier. We fully enjoyed this frozen monument and national park of 60 square meters, discovered in 1796. You can enjoy the immense contrast with the surrounding vegetation. With the knowledge that all glaciers are distinct, we enjoyed the magnificence of its 80 to 135 meters high walls, illuminated by the light and shadows of one day between cloudy and sunny. AOn our way back we passed the Upsala Glacier. The catamaran was breaking the thin or not so thin ice with its bow on a stunning day of icy beauty.
