Glenveagh National Park

2 reviews of Glenveagh National Park

Hills, lakes and castles

This is the second largest national park in Ireland, mostly people just go to visit the castle, however I recommend to go and take a walk around the area, weather permitting. A bus will take us to the castle (visit 5 euros), where we will be able to find a lake around beautiful and exotic gardens which are free. For those who have longer I recommend doing one of the recommended walks: climb the mountain-lookout (8 km one way) or visit the waterfalls (8 km one way). By their land wanders the largest herd of deer in Ireland.
