Gollandieres Beach

With a wildlife and exotic vegetation, the beach of Bois is situated on the southern tip of the island of Ré. Its long sandy dunes and sublime environment and surroundings invite you, as soon as you see it you will want to run barefoot without stopping while the sea breeze blows around you ... Go to the rocky plateau that juts into the sea and loose track of time while you relax. The banks are battered by the waves which form in the Côte Sauvage (Wild Coast). When spring comes to the beach of Bois, color fills every corner. Among the rocks and meadows grow poppies and alyssum, between heaven and earth the land blooms.
