Gov. Bill and Vara Daniel Center for Legal History

In May 1991, this centre was initially opened as an archive and research centre where exhibitions were also produced. It was the product of years of effort by a member of the State Bar of Texas, who wanted to ensure that the Bank of Texas and the bar's history would be preserved. The History Center continues to work mainly as an archive and research centre.
