Laguna Verde

My journey began in Chile, more specifically in San Pedro de Atacama. After crossing the border, my first experience of Bolivia couldn't have been better. I arrived at the 4,400ft.-high Laguna Verde reflecting the Licancabur volcano towering over 1,000ft. above the lake. Simply extraordinary.

Laguna Verde is a lovely day-trip between Bolivia and Chile! We spent nearly four days at the Salar de Uyuni desert before later crossing into Chile through this stunning landscape. I'm counting down the days until we can return to this amazing place.
