This place has a bit of everything: restaurant, cafe, fully-stocked bar, and it's on one of the most interesting streets in Cologne. Hammerstein's has an exquisite, modernly-decorated terrace and an extensive menu of fresh fish cooked Mediterranean-style, salads, and delicious German pastries. It's not a cheap place, but in the afternoon you can have a cocktail for only 5 euros.
