Hluboká

This cute town in the south of the Czech Republic, about 10 km from Ceske Budejovice. The town itself is great - it is well maintained and is infamous for its magnificent Gothic palace which is surrounded by an English garden. My recommendation would be to walk around the town - it is not too large - see the castle, if only from the outside (not forgetting their gardens), and end up eating or dining in one of the restaurants on the main street.
