Fantastic Walk
Khardong was opposite or as we say 'a stone's throw away'. The strange thing is that you can't just cross the street to it you have to travel a few km down winding streets, cross the river at the only bridge for 10km and climb another hill of 3 km. I don't have to say that it was very cool with a wooded landscape, wild, high mountain, the river small but powerful (almost scared me) and of course the village itself with houses full of wood to withstand the gruelling winter. All this is excuse enough to reach it and enjoy a tour of "major league". By the way you can speak with the countrymen travelling the same way, play with animals tied to the left side of the road or be amazed by the orchards scattered along the curve or the other side of that strip of trees.
