L & Ele Restaurant

There are restaurants that you leave content after eating well and others in which you exit wondering when you will return, as is the case with L & Ele.

In this restaurant I was able to enjoy some of the best dishes I've tried and they consisted mainly of vegetables, something that I'm not too keen on. But vegetables cooked by Lola acquire new flavours and textures that I am sure will astonish everyone.

In addition to vegetables, the fish and the meat have their place, with great preparation, just like the desserts, a highlight being the Lola style French toast, with a recipe based on the one Juan Mari Arzak prepares in his restaurant.

Probably the best place I've eaten at in my whole life as well as the most comfortable. Not only is the food delicious, the restaurant has an impressive really personal decor linked to the owners, if not, they themselves will pass on their passion for cooking through the dishes they serve you. A shot of motivation which made me at least, pause to savour every bite.

For me, it's a must in Navarra and I am sure that as soon as I have an excuse I will eat there again.

The products are all from the area and in-season suffice to say fresh and tasty. The desserts are, frankly, obscene for being so sumptuous. Our hair stood on end as the described to us the French toast and its preparation and I no longer had any doubts.

En route to Zaragoza from Cantabria it is worth stopping to feed the senses with elaborate local food.

Price is good: about 100 € for three, eating without looking at the menu (just what the cook gave us).
