A good pastry shop
On the Calle de la Liberté, which links the Greater Souk with Mohamed VI Avenue in the new part, is this pastry shop typical of Tangier with all of the Arabic sweets typical of the country. There are puff pastry with nuts, donuts, cake with walnuts and raisins, crackers, pasta stuffed with pistachio ... There are also several types of pita bread. The owners are very helpful and friendly and will happily answer all of your questions regarding the desserts.
