The best area is next to the beach in a hidden corner, yet cozy, it is surrounded by beautiful tropical vegetation with extensive landscaped gardens. To get there, take the road that goes to Las Galeras Samana from the city and in the town of The Cocoa, after about 12 miles from Samana there is the sign. To get to Samanaa you can take a taxi or "buses" (minibus) and if adventurous you can take a "motoconcho" (motorcycle taxi).
