It was the last day of our holiday in Tunisia, and we were feeling fed up with the same old food over and over again (coleslaw, chicken, and orange) in hotel buffets and restaurants, so we decided to try to eat something a little different. We didn't have a long time - we'd be going to the airport at 3pm - so we ate in the Lala Kahlia restaurant, the a la carte restaurant located in the Hotel Monastir Center, where we were staying. The restaurant is in a small building, separate from the main hotel, and right across from the pool.
We were the only customers, and the chef paid us a lot of personal attention, perhaps thinking we were rich tourists! The menu offered several options of meat and fish.
