A spectacular spot

When you're feeling dizzy and exhausted from Delhi, when your eardrums feel like they might burst from all the noise, and you're just overwhelmed by the constant tide of humans, go to the wonderful Lodi (or Lodhi) Gardens. This is a spectacular spot near the centre of the city. The gardens have several buildings, some of them dating back to the mid-fifteenth century. Among them are the tombs of the monarchs of the Sayyid and Lodi dynasties. The buildings are surrounded by vast expanses of well-kept grass and leafy trees, where hundreds of squirrels scamper.
