Mad Café is another of the many options that are starting to appear in Madrid for eating quality hamburgers. They use ground pork meat for their hamburgers, making 250 gram hamburgers. You can ask for a double (half a kilo) and they cook it over a volcanic rock grill.
The meat is tender, juicy, and the hamburger doesn’t come premade from the suppliers. It doesn’t come too flattened, which helps keep it tasty and juicy. The menu is lengthy, with classic options and others a little more original, like the grilled foie gras. All the burgers can come with a special sauce, the Mad Sauce, which is a mix of ketchup, mayonnaise and pickles.
