The Slug and Lettuce, Harrogate
(1)
The Slug and Lettuce is a chain restaurant in the Montpellier neighborhood in Harrogate. The restaurant is housed in a beautiful old house, in front of Montpellier Hill Gardens. It is ideal for getting a snack there, an afternoon coffee or maybe even a glass of wine a little later at night. Sometimes they move a few tables outside, but there isn't much of a summer in Harrogate. If you go with a group of people they offer a private room where you can celebrate the occasion quietly in a room on the first floor. Same goes for corporate events. The menu is simple, it has English cuisine and also some oriental dishes like smoked stuffed peppers and rice with curry. The chicken tikka is very spicy! There are also Mediterranean dishes. On Monday make 50% discount on the food, and the weekend brunch is a 3-lb. Prices are lower with the crisis, and there is always available on our web

The Montpellier
The Montpellier is an unoriginal name for this neighbourhood pub in Montpellier! Montpellier is one of the most beautiful places to visit because there are plenty of shops, restaurants and bars around. The city is dedicated to tourism and fun, so you'll always enjoy your stay in Montpellier. This is an old pub with a few tables outside to enjoy good weather. Inside, the décor is very cozy, with a fireplace, wood furniture and rugs on the floor. They serve pub food, like meat pies and homemade burgers, and the plates are generally accompanied by vegetables. There is a great selection of home-brewed ales. In general, the British are not going from pub to pub if they go out. They usually always go to the same pub, hence the family atmosphere where everyone knows everyone and they go to chat after work. The prices are reasonable.

Drum and Monkey
The Drum and Monkey is my all time favourite restaurant - I´ve been dining here for over thirty years! The atmosphere is fantastic and the food is to die for - queen scallops with garlic butter and cheese; seafood platter; lobster soup and the fish pie are amongst my favourites. Be warned - book in advance as it is a very busy restaurant. Enjoy!
