Monument to the Memory

On a fine day, I got to fisit this great historical monument and take these nice photos. It is located located right next to the beautiful church of San Cipriano matrix. It is kind of an obelisk from the nineteenth century, during the Peninsular War commemoration, as is stated on the same plate-tribute. The monument to the "Memoria! Was built one hundred years after the pretext of celebrating the centenary, so remember to defend the lands of Minho and in particular the role of the people, ie Vila Nova de CERVEIRA, in defense of the border. Keep in mind that it is a northern town.
