Monumento a Vicenzo Bellini

It is located directly opposite the Grand Imperial Hotel. After having been ill and on death´s door in 1830, this great sicilian-born musician, moved to this town in 1831 to recover. He spent time in Como, the place where he composed music in some of his works as "La Sonnambula", "The Straniera"
